and again???

My prediction that the infection would go away but return in 2 days was accurate.
Two days after antibiotics stopped Amy was hit with pain and a smell that is truly indescribable. The infection had returned but this time it was a new one and a bad one. Something to do with a pneumonia type of bacteria that can be transmitted and can be deadly.
Amy met with internist a few days ago who wanted to make sure she was strong enough for surgery next week. That was before the urine results came back.
Urologist gave her 14 days worth of drugs to last her beyond surgery because I don’t think they’ll want to proceed if she’s full of infection.
I am so sick of this. I can’t imagine how she feels but she is gradually getting more and more frustrated.

A friend of Amy’s died last week. Colon cancer. They gave her 3-6 months so they went to Hawaii. She died there. That really pushed some buttons. As did hearing Sarah Ferguson has malignant melanoma. There must be some connection between breast cancer and melanoma or maybe it’s a red head thing!

At least the weather is better. Walking helps.
