Here are we again. Time for another scan. It’s always unsettling waiting for results and…Amy has another infection.
She called the urologist and he won’t prescribe anything until nurse takes a sample on Wednesday. But when her urine smells like ammonia she knows it’s that awful bacterial infection she had last week. Sigh…

On a happier, maybe crazier, note we’ve decided to get a puppy!!! Amy has changed so much since deciding she wanted a dog. She is like her old self. She has energy, she’s excited, she’s busy planning and it’s so nice to see.
The reality is that she might not be around to see it grow up. I had to decide if I was going to be ok caring for it on my own. I am and I think it will be good for me. The dog will bring energy and companionship into our house.
